February 21, 2012 - Godley TX   -  The Godley Wildcats pulled off a win in the 1st round of the State Playoffs, defeating Holliday 60-59 in double overtime.  The Wildcats improve to 21-9 on the season and move on to the Area Championship vs. Melissa on Friday FEB 24.

January 13, 2012 - Godley TX    Please note some changes to the JV Gold schedule for the next 2 weeks.  Beginning Tuesday, January 17th the JV Gold games times will switch to the 4:00 time slot.  This will continue for the next 7 games.   For specific dates and times click on the "Events" tab and Schedules. 

January 3, 2012 - Godley TX - The Wildcats return to district play tonight against Paradise, with the Lady Cats at 6:30 and the Wildcats at 8:00 pm.  The JV Gold Team will begin at 5:00 pm.  Come on out and support the team at home, you can catch the Wildcats at home for the next 7 Tuesdays in a row.  This year's district schedule will feature every home game, for the rest of the season, on a Tuesday and all the away games will played on the road, Friday night.  Plan to come out and support the Wildcats.

December 26, 2011 - Godley TX    The Godley HS Holiday Hoops Classic, sponsored by the Godley Athletic Booser Club gets under way this Tuesday and Wednesday at Godley High School.  A traditional 8 team bracket will play out in the competition gym all day on Tuesday.   Come on out and support the Wildcats at 1:30 and 7:00 pm. On Wednesday games begin at 2:00 and the Championship game is at 7:00 pm.  You can view or print a copy of the bracket seen above by going to the Documents section under the "About Us" tab. 

December 13, 2011 - Godley TX    As we approach the end of the semester its important that we all stay on the same page during the break.  Check the Documents section under the "About Us" tab to find our Holiday schedules for each team.  Please stay in close contact with your coaches if you have any conflicts during the break.  Please don't hesistate to call the coaching office if you have any questions or concerns with holiday schedules. 

December 5, 2011 - Godley TX - All (3) three teams will travel to West on Tuesday, DEC 06 as non-district play continues with the JV Gold team playing, first, at 5:00 pm.  The JV Purple Team will play in the 6:30 time slot and your Wildcat Varsity will tip it off at 8:00 pm.    

                                   Tournament season continues on Thursday with the Varsity travelling to Glen Rose.  Brackets for game times are available in the Documents section under the "About Us"  tab.   The JV Gold and Purple Teams travel to Alvarado on Thursday.  Please note major changes to this tournament.  All games on Friday have been rescheduled for Saturday, due to Alvarado football.  The updated brackets are posted in the Documents section.   Do not hesitate to contact one of our coaches if you have any questions or concerns about the busy week ahead. 

November 30, 2011 - Godley TX -   All three teams travel to Lake Worth on Thursday, December 1st for the first tournament of the 2011-2012 Season.  The JV Purple Team plays Alvarado at 10:00 am.  The JV Gold Team will start the first round against Boswell at 4:00 pm.  The varsity will match up with Carter Riverside at 2:30 pm and later that night at 7:00 pm you can watch the Wildcats as they take on Ponder.  All Varsity games will be played at Lake Worth HS.   Tournaments are the busiest and sometimes the most confusing part of the season.  Check out all the times and brackets for all three teams, online, in our Documents section under the "About Us" tab. 

November 23, 2011 - Godley TX    The JV Purple game scheduled on Tuesday November 29th vs. Hico has been cancelled due to Hico only filling two teams this year.  The JV Purple will practice on Tuesday 3:00-4:30.  The JV Gold Team will play @ Hico starting at 5:00 pm and the Varsity will play at 8:00 pm. 

November 16, 2011 - Godley TX -  The Wildcat Football teams continues its playoff run this Friday night in Sweetwater TX.  As a result the first game of the year vs. Fort Worth Southwest Christian that was scheduled for Monday, November 21, has been cancelled.  The JV Purple will open their season Monday night against Boyd at the Middle School at approximately 8 pm.  The JV Gold team is now scheduled to open the 2011-2012 season vs. Graham on Tuesday November 22 at Godley HS. 

November 12, 2011 - Godley TX -  The competition gym at Godley High School has been completely repainted just in time for the 2011-2012 basketball season.  With a new "G-Claw" at center court the new paint scheme gives the gym a brand new feel.  Come check it out, games start on November 21st vs Fort Worth Southwest Christian and November 22nd vs. Graham.

November 7, 2011 - Godley TX - Wildcat basketball players head over to the Elementary School every monday morning in a service learning project to promote reading to Godley Elementary 1st graders.
